If you are looking to participate in a worthy cause benefiting the LGBT and HIV/AIDS communities, you will find a new home with Sapphire Fund. As producer of Emerge and Blue Ball (the men's event), Sapphire Fund serves as a channel between donors and organizations who support Philadelphia's LGBT and HIV/AIDS communities.
Since it's inception in 2002, the Sapphire Fund has returned over $210,000.00 to the LGBTQ communty and HIV/AIDS community. With a new year of philanthropy upon us, Sapphire Fund would like to remind you about our individual giving program, Sapphire Gems.
Sapphire Gems is an essential part of the Fund's constant efforts to expand fundraising potential, build community involvement, and extend the gift of philanthropy to all people.
Proceeds from this years Weekend will benefit the following organizatons.

A 2007 study by Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition and Philadelphia Safe and Sound details the many issues surrounding LGBTQ youth aging out of our foster care system. These "aging out" youth, coupled with our young community members forced to leave home because of their sexual orientation, demonstrates the critical need for supportive programming offered by Foyer.
