About the 2009 LGBTQ Womyn of Color Conference: This conference brings LGBTQ womyn of color to Philadelphia to ignite dialogue around embodying our tagline -- "Breathing Fire: Channeling the Power Within."

Through positive and loving interactions, the mission of the LGBTQ Womyn of Color Conference is to create and sustain a safe space in which LGBTQ womyn work towards increased visibility, wholistic healing, addressing key issues within our communities and ultimately moving towards a more just society.

Two-day conference:
Friday April 3, 2009 (5pm-10pm)
Christ Church (2nd Street Between Market St and Arch St)

Performance by feature artist/activist Staceyann Chin.

Saturday April 4, 2009 (10am-5pm)
William Way Center (1315 Spruce St) Intergenerational Brunch and Workshops.
